At the 2016 Collaborations for Cause Conference, award-winning photojournalist Sara Terry offered the history behind her foundation The Aftermath Project, an educational nonprofit she started to support photojournalism documenting post-conflict stories. In this video, Terry takes us through the formative experiences she had as a photojournalist that lead to the evolution of this important organization, which celebrates a decade of remarkable work this year. Terry discusses a number of the powerful projects funded by Aftermath which demonstrate that “war in only half the story.” This interview was conducted by PhotoWings in partnership with The Aftermath Project and the Blue Earth Alliance.
